Larkspur

A secret known to few, Larkspur feels like a throwback to simpler times. Wide open views of the entire Front Range, towering pine trees, natural vegetation on large lots, and proximity to both Colorado Springs and Denver make Larkspur the perfect place to put your boots up.

Founded almost 150 years ago, Larkspur proper remains a quiet and close knit hamlet of around 200 people. The small town includes just what you need- a post office, country store, highly ranked elementary school, excellent Mexican food restaurant, and a couple of other necessities. Many of the surrounding homes and lots are zoned for horses, so you are as likely to see a horse as a bicycle or car in the area.

Lest you think that Larkspur is a little too rustic for your tastes, be reminded that the award-winning Perry Park Country Club and Bear Dance Golf Club are nearby. Many luxury homes and lots remain in the area, ready to be customized to your specific needs. Just a few miles south lies Palmer Lake, home to miles of trails, a stocked lake, and numerous small restaurants. And though you may feel like you are truly living in the mountains, Larkspur has quick access to both Highway 105 and I-25, meaning you can easily commute both north and south. If the thought of luxurious living in the countryside of Colorado appeals to you, let us show you the Larkspur area!
